Dog who fell off shrimp boat found alive days later after swimming six miles to shore

When Monster, a dog, fell off a shrimp boat, her owner thought she was lost forever. However, a few days later, the tenacious dog made it back home by swimming to shore.

A shrimp boat captain from San Leon, Texas named Keith “Kiwi” Soffes likes his dog Monster, who goes with him on his daily outings out on the water.

On the other hand, a recent voyage ended tragically when Monster went overboard. The dog disappeared without a trace despite the fact that she was accustomed to being on the water because she had been with Keith since she was a puppy and that it was a peaceful day.

Keith searched everywhere in an effort to locate her but soon grew worried. I lost the one thing in this world that I actually loved, Keith wrote. “I’m absolutely brokenhearted.”

In the hopes that Monster would turn up someplace, Keith posted the story on social media. He received a lot of love and prayers from people online.

But five days after Monster vanished, he got some good news: Monster had survived a wild sea voyage and was alive and well.

According to FOX 26 Houston, the monster survived by swimming five to six kilometers across Galveston Bay to the shore.

A few days after reaching the coast, the monster was found. Keith heard her narrative and was surprised.

He told FOX 26: “I replied, ‘Man, she couldn’t have made that swim. That dog couldn’t possibly have swum that far.

After spending several difficult days apart, Keith and Monster were ecstatic to be back again.

Keith cried so hard that he was unable to speak. “She kept kissing me nonstop.

Monster is now at last secure in his own house. Keith is still worn out from the emotional quest, while Monster seems unmoved despite her lengthy adventure.

Keith posted a picture of the dog resting contently on Facebook with the caption, “She acts like nothing happened. “She slumbers like a jaybird, content. She intentionally leaped off, in my opinion. He chuckled, “Just to get on television.

However, I still adore her, and I’m happy to have my little companion back.

Keith informed FOX 26 that he will equip the dog with a tracking device and a life jacket on future boat trips to ensure that something similar never occurs again.

What an amazing achievement. We’re very happy Monster made it to land without incident and was reunited with her anxious owner. These two are obviously in love and are ecstatic to be back together.
